 A QUICK GUIDE

Explore your field visit

  1. Explore the field notes. Click a city for its conclusions and sublocations. Click a sublocation for observations and the original Google Maps reference.
  2. Browse the photos. Select the Photos tab, then click a numbered circle or choose All photos.
  3. Find a moment. Filter by day or search by filename, location name or coordinate.
  4. Open a photo. Click a thumbnail for a large image. Use the arrow keys to browse, Actual size to zoom, and Escape to return.
  5. Explore the map. Zoom and pan around the fieldwork locations. Choose a different background using the map selector. The stored map includes detail around the fieldwork sites.

City markers represent the centre of their study locations. Location names follow the final imported Google Maps list. Photo groups use EXIF GPS readings. Camera timestamps are shown as recorded. Videos are excluded.
